It is required that all applicants contact us by phone prior to submission of their application.

NB: Listing of your home with Caring For Kids does not guarantee referral of parents and children.

Please note that in addition to your application the following is required:

• At least two references provided by persons who are not family relatives and who have observed you caring for children.
• Up-to-date Medical information for all residents at that address (including vaccinations for all residents and current TB test or chest x- ray for all residents over 18 years of age).
• Current Infant/Child CPR and Emergency First Aid.
• Current Criminal References Checks for all residents of that address over 18 years of age.
• We inspect all homes.  All Caring For Kids caregiver homes are required to meet the health and safety guidelines set down in the Day Nursery Act.
